Webelos Woods

Woodruff Scout Reservation, Blairsville, Georgia

During the weekend of March 19-21st 2010, the Milton District Webelos Woods will be held at Woodruff Scout Reservation. Webelos Woods is a 2 day camping experience exclusively for Webelos Scouts to experience camping in a manner similar to Boy Scout Troops and Patrols. The Saturday program will focus on basic scout activities keeping in spirit of the 100th Anniversary of Scouting.

• Because this is a District sponsored event, individual Local Tour Permits are not required.
• All participants must have a current Class 1 Personal Health and Medical Record form with them at check in.
• Units are responsible for their own meals and camping supplies.
• Parents are encouraged to attend and learn more about Troops and Boy Scouting.

Basic Schedule:

• Friday afternoon/evening - Webelos Dens arrive and check in
• Friday night campout by Dens
• Saturday - Scouting activities
• Saturday Evening - Council Campfire
• Saturday night campout
• Sunday - Scouts’ Own Service, clean up, pack up, depart for home
